When worlds collide
The moon of the deity Caer’lith, known as Caelis to the Humans and Heru en’Tuare to the Elves. His moon is covered in lush forests, plains and lakes of pure and crystal clear water. It is a sacred realm in which Elves who live to old age go to instead of passing on like mortal Humans and Dwarves. It is connected to Cagireu by the Grand Oak, an immense tree that grows in upon Alfmun. It is a metaphysical tree, as it also grows in the sacred groves of each of the Elven Forests, connecting in each to the same tree on Alfmun. When an Elf reaches very old age, they climb up the Grand Oak and ascend to the Alfmun, where they live an afterlife of eternal youth, vigour and joy. It is said that at the centre of Alfmun is a library, where Caer’lith stores the most dangerous and forbidden of knowledge away from mortals, guarded by the eternal spirits of the greatest Elven warriors and mages.
